To honour our hard working athletes, coaches and volunteers Sport North is offering the below workshops to keep our sport leaders at the leading edge of issues facing sport today. Take soem tiem for your sport - Celebrate your sport. Educate yourself on Women in Sport. Learn how you can address homophobia in sport.

Rising Star Program

The Rising Star Program provides funding to athletes (under 14 years of age) that exhibit high performance potential in their sport and wish to receive additional training through a camp format. Applicants must be nominated by a coach, teacher, principal, pastor, RCMP officer etc. Nominators must submit the application on behalf of the athlete.

NWTBSA Purchases Tow Rope for Bristol Pitt

November 22, 2011 - NWTBSA in cooperation with the City of Yellowknife has launched a major project to develop a snowboard park at Bristol Pitt in Yellowknife.
